Origin: Azilal, Middle Atlas

A vintage Azilal in red, black, and white bearing a bold triplet of nested lozenges. Scattered protective symbols in a network of lozenges. The lines are geometric but fluid and the carpet blends the symmetrical and the abstract nicely. The wool is soft, and the vintage fading of the bright red softens the contrast. In excellent condition, short pile, unbraided cotton fringe intact.
